dc.description.abstract Bangladesh is still lagging behind in English education compared to other countries. The underlying reasons for this are our weak educational system in English education, lack of proper management and competent teachers and apathy of the students in the subject and many other factors. As per the suggestion given by my supervisor to understand this context, I prepared this research paper whose topic is "The Present Scenario of English Language Teaching in Bangladeshi Schools". To make this I have to go through various steps, I conduct three classes on English subject in a school as per my supervisor's suggestion and also observe three classes of three different teachers and present importance and effectiveness of English teaching to students during class conduct. As a result of this activity, I can get an idea about the actual condition of English education, as well as gain many new experiences, and all these experiences and the students' perspective about the subject English and the actual situation of their English learning, what steps they need to take to improve their English are detailed present in this project paper. In today's modern world, there is no alternative to the use of English language and its correct application in all areas from communication to corporate, so it is essential to learn it from the initial position and know its usage. en_US
