dc.description.abstract There are several types of Minorities exist such as religious, ethnic, linguistic & racial in Bangladesh. Violence against the minority is not a new. Historically it was started from the 1947. They are not the additional part of our country. They have same right like other people. The constitution of Bangladesh ensures some right of the minority community & culture. Though a small portion of minority people lives in different part of Bangladesh. But they have lots of contribution during the to build up this nation. From the 1971, a number of violence or attack on minority community occur. In recent days such incident increasing day by day. The Religious minority feel insecurity. Some political party use them as a tool of politics. The situation minority in Bangladesh is a human right issues because they discriminate in every field of their life. The government should give a paid attention to protect their rights. This paper includes the genesis of minority, classification minority, right of the minority, violation of minority right, consequence of such violation, constitutional position, problem they are facing recent days & responsibilities of Government. en_US
