dc.description.abstract In this paper utilization of MATLAB software for control of photovoltaic power using Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control mechanism. The main aim of the thesis is the conditioning system of solar-PV using design simulation along with a Maximum Power Point Tracking control mechanism. The MPPT is responsible for extracting the maximum possible power from the photovoltaic and feed it to the load via converter to required magnitude. The perturb and observe method algorithm is utilized for MPPT and use as a code. The algorithm is written in m files of MATLAB and utilized in simulation. Both the DC-DC converter and the DC-AC converter are modeled using Sim Power Systems blocks. en_US
