Internship Report on “Desh Tv”

Abstract

The Internship report is prepared as requirement of BSS (hons) in JMC program of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Daffodil International University. This report is on “Desh TV”. I am acknowledging by this report which is in detailed understanding of activities of a television channel especially in news sector. It also attempts to capture the procedures practiced in Desh TV in news editing and selection sector. The purpose of this report is to have an idea about television channel, news room function, various styles in news like OOV, packages etc. The information of the report has collected from primary and secondary sources of the Desh TV. Desh TV is the leading television channel in Bangladesh. It is not only program orientated but also provides news. In first part of this report have some basic information about the internship and its importance. In the second part a depth discussion about the channel and its highly orientated profile, activities of Desh TV and its function of NCA department are included. NCA department is the department from where news is made by the staffs. After that there are learning and concluding parts. At last some of OVV and packages which is made by me at Desh TV are attached in the appendix.
