dc.description.abstract Technology made life easier than before but set some alarming issues to be careful about. Security is one such major concern of today’s life. For keeping information secured access control, password protection, and biometric measures are implemented with high care. This project presents a 2-way security-controlled door opening system which can be widely used in different organizations and even in apartments or houses. In this project embedded systems and biometrics have been used to protect unauthorized access. If knock pattern and finger print matches then the door will be opened. Otherwise it will set an alarm for neighborhood and system will send an email to the authorized person in his/her mobile. An alarm and email can make the neighborhood and the authorized person alert respectively and thus they can take necessary actions en_US
