dc.description.abstract | Researchers from an university in Malaysia convert an ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna into a super-wideband (SWB) antenna by placing a parasitic element on the ground plane. The super-wideband antenna radiates in a near omnidirectional manner. The antenna has been printed on both sides of a dielectric FR4 substrate 1.6 mm thick, and with permittivity of 4.6 and loss tangent of 0.02. | en_US |
