dc.description.abstract This internship is on “Study of a Corporate Network”. This is a kind of network using Cisco router, Switch and Different types of server which help a Network Administrator build up a control over the total network. The aim of the Network is build up a WLAN using broad band router by assign a real IP address. After assigning IP address we configure the DHCP server for the network. When router will configure in DHCP mode every computer will get a IP address automatically. It has a wide variety of uses, from speeding up a web server by caching repeated requests; to caching web, DNS and other computer network lookups for a group of people sharing network resources. A mail server is a computer that serves as an electronic post office for email. Mail exchanged across networks is passed between mail servers that run specially designed software The most common use of web servers is to host web sites but there are other uses like data storage or for running enterprise applications. FTP operates on the application layer of the OSI model, and is used to transfer files using TCP/IP .In order to do this an FTP server needs to be running and waiting for incoming requests. NFS lowing a user on a client computer to access files over a network in a manner similar to how local storage is accessed. Output of the system study and working sight then elaborate of all the printable reports including their print screen is attached. Finally this report has shown some limitation of the present system and also few changes that may take place in future to terminate the current limitation of the system. en_US
