dc.description.abstract	This thesis is on Feature Extraction of Bangla vowels and consonants. This thesis deals with the study of Bangla phoneme analysis which is the basis of Bangla speech processing. The main task is to acquire the Bangla vowels and consonants samples. Then extract the features by Linear Predictive Coding (LPC) method of analysis. The extracted features are pitch, amplitude and first three formants for both male and female voice. This document will describe LPC speech signal analysis technique and apply it to Bangla vowels and consonants to extract features. The speech features obtained by this method have acceptable comparable values.	en_US
