dc.description.abstract Lean supply chain is the elimination of all waste, including time and one of the best options to enhance supply chain performance. The objective of this study is to reveal the concept, significance, implementation steps, and factors to implement lean supply chain management in the apparel industry of Bangladesh. Very few studies have been conducted to investigate the issue in Bangladesh. This research enriches theoretical contributions to knowledge and practical contributions to business organizations and progressed through physical survey to 17 renowned garments factories in Bangladesh which are in the lean implementation stage. This analysis is very essential due to the increase of economic importance of supply chains in enhancing competitive power in international markets and will stand as a benchmark to implement lean for other apparel industries in Bangladesh en_US
